The course consists of assessment tasks, questions and video roleplays conducted via live group sessions.
To complete an NREL course, you will need:
- a Laptop or Computer (Mac or Windows computers are both compatible (Windows 8 or above)
- the latest version of Adobe Reader (currently http://https://get.adobe.com/reader/), and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- internet access so you can complete the assessments via the online learning platform (google chrome is recommended)
- Video recording device (e.g. phone, laptop etc)

Upgrade from FNS40820 / FNS40821 to FNS50322 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management
This course is suited to students who have previously completed either FNS40820 OR FNS40821 qualification wishing to upgrade their qualification and obtain the FNS50322 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED A PREVIOUS VERSION PLEASE ENROL IN the full FNS50322 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and not the upgrade. Admin fees may apply to transfer your enrolment to the correct version.
The FNS50322 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management conforms with the requirements set by the National Government of Australia. This course is developed for new entrants to the mortgage broking industry and those currently providing mortgage broking services looking to gain a formal qualification while meeting the education requirements.
As this is a Diploma Upgrade course you must already hold the FNS40820 or FNS40821 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking. You will need to provide a certified copy of your Certificate along with a copy of your record of results detailing the units of competency achieved.
As part of this course, you will have access to 6 Units of Competency taken from the FNS50322 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. To successfully complete this course you are required to complete and be deemed ‘Satisfactory’ in all 6 units of competency.
*Note: Additional units of competency may need to be completed if you do not hold all the units required to upgrade to the qualification.
